Nice restaurant located in a very lovely hotel. Outside seating available. I have visited turkey a number of times (20+) and have never done a truly tourist visit and done a tourist dinner. I think traditional Ottoman food is something geared towards tourists. A "twist" on traditional turkish cuisine where there were alot of sweet sauces and fruits mixed in with the meats. (pomegranate sauces, figs, cherry, etc.). It was a good experience, something different. The service was good. Atmosphere was nice. There was a live musician playing ottoman music which added a nice flair. The experience was supposed to liken to an experience of eating at an Ottoman Palace (Topkapi), using original menu items from the Sultan's chef. The outside seating area doesn't offer views of anything. This is a shame as it's such a centrally located restaurant by the mosques and the main square.
