“Cosy Hotel with eccellent location!”
Reviewed March 9, 2013

We are a family of 3 persons and stayed here for 5 nights in March although the weather sometimes rainy but the staff at the hotel kerp you feel warm !
The entire staff is super and rooms are lovely.Cleaning service is available every day.
Tea,fresh fruit and delicios fresh cake is available in the Lobby 24/7.Location is excellent as you are far from Blue Mosque with 3 minutes by walking and 10 minutes from Topkapı Palace and Grand Bazaar !
Wi-Fi is free and connection is well.Staff is always helpful with lots of recommendations.
For the next time in May we are definitely going to stay at Emine Sultan again!
Thank you Emine Sultan !

We have booked a room to spend our marriage anniversary ad I found the hotel review are very encouraging.. they told me that they reserved me room 303 which is double room .. when arrival they gave me room 302 which is treble room which was so nice from them in addition to the bottle of wine and basket of fruits ... they present them in extremely romantic way even the letter which contains the welcome content with the WiFi password they represent it in a very nice way.. the room was very cleaned and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly. Sure the hotel close to sultan Ahmed masjed in addition to all nearby attractions.. the View from our room is really charming and I recommend it to all who like to stay in really beautiful hotel with charming view and decorations with a reasonable budget.

Room Tip: Room 303 is amazing room with a very charming and romantic view.

I totally recommend it. The rooms are clean, comfortable and nice. The breakfast is amazing and the staff is very kind. The location is great, is 5 minutes walking from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace and lots of restaurants. If you need to go somewhere else the hotel staff kindly will call a taxi for you or tell you how to get there.
For some people the fact that there are 2 buildings is 'No', but it is not, the second building (where we stayed) is very quiet, the rooms are bigger and is as near to all the places as the other hotel. The breakfast is in the main hotel, but it totally worths the short walk, 'cause i repeat is great. If i go back to Istambul, i will stay here for sure.

The hotel is close to most monuments and in a quite neighborhood. It has nice and clean rooms and bathrooms and overall it offers a great environment for relaxing and enjoining the accommodation. Moreover, there is a nice roof top breakfast room and a sufficient breakfast buffet with many choices. Finally, the personnel is very friendly and willing to help you with your requests or troubles.. In my opinion the hotel offers the best value for money!

Room Tip: prefer living in the rooms in the upper stores ( in total there are 3 stores and the 4th for the sui...

This was my first visit to Istanbul as a young female. I felt welcomed with the warm and polite manner of the staff. This was the most romantic and beautiful hotel I've yet come across in turkey as a British Turk. Please so consider as a choice!

We visited in February when the weather was cool but the room air conditioning coped well. The hotel is just around the corner to the Blue Mosque and close to the main Sultanahmet sites and also the Metro.
Our room was on the second floor with a view out to the sea over the roof tops. The area is quite run down by UK standards but we didn't feel intimidated at all.
The room was spotless and comfortable with a powerful, hot shower and tea making facilities and fridge. The TV could also play DVD's but we weren't in long enough to try it. The walls are not soundproof but that didn't bother us too much, we don't expect to be cocooned when in the city. The call to prayer was evocative and reminded us where we were.
The breakfast room had views out to the Bosphorus and the Blue Mosque was visable looming over the area. The spread of food at breakfast is quite impressive comprising of fruit, fresh and dried, yoghurt, honeys and jams, sweet pastries as well as cereals. There was also traditional Turkish fayre of cucumber, tomatoes, eggs, savoury pastries, sausage, cheeses, olives etc. I could go on, and of course filter coffee and juices!
The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. I had some very helpful emails from Cagri answering my questions before we arrived and Adil was charming at all times. There were other young staff whose names I didn't get but all were equally as good.
Istanbul is an amazing, vibrant city with masses to do and see. There are times when our ignorance led us to be overcharged in cafes and shops but a little more homework could have prevented this and we will know better next time. I can recommend the Trip Advisor City Guide download which was invaluable for finding tips on where to eat and had good maps but other reading is essential.
Overall we had a wonderful stay but needed longer to see everything. Our first view of the Blue Mosque on our first night brought tears to my eyes and set the tone for the rest of our stay Three full days is not enough. We will have to return and will definitely stay at the Emine Sultan Hotel.
