Very friendly service & helpful.
Close to every thing ,Blue Mosque & shopping etc...
The room was clean with all facilities needed and there is a lovely terrace on the top of the hotel to enjoy the views.
The owner was extremely friendly, We booked a standard double room but were shifted to a superior room without extra cost!!!

Booked online, even though the pictures they use to advertise do not give them the credit they deserve. The hotels locations is excellent, especially for a first time traveler to Turkey. Its in the European side, 2 minutes walk to the blue mosque and aya Sophia.10 minutes walk to the Grand Bazaar. Its a small hotel but very attention to detail is there. Very clean. Extremely welcoming and helpful staff, very friendly...Rooms have amenities like tooth brush, shampoo slippers etc...They even offer you complementary wine with some mezze daily in the afternoon, and evening they change it to tea and some cake and sweets! The breakfast is nothing fancy, but I still give them 5 star because of the overall feel! I highly recommend staying there! The only issue might be for handicap people because they do not have an elevator.

Hotel is only a 5 min walk from the main attractions, provides a great breakfast and afternoon/evening wine and snacks also included in the price which was a reasonable price. It was so good and welcoming that we almost didn't go out to see the city in the evenings as we were made to feel at home. The staff were even very flexible to give us an extra early breakfast and late check out as we were running the 15k race on the Sunday. Check out the open roof terrace as well for the views

Best Point Hotel is located in the Sultanahmet district of old Istanbul and is only a 10-15 minute walk to the Blue Mosque and Hague Sofia. The rooftop deck, which is also the breakfast room, has wonderful views of the surrounding district, Blue Mosque and Bosphorus. We also enjoyed late afternoons on the deck with some wine or beer reading our books. There are 20 rooms spread out over 4 floors. There is no elevator but there are plenty of willing staff to carry your luggage. Our room was a good size with a double bed. There were toiletries in the bathroom and also a safe. It is a family run business owned by a young, energetic and attentive young fellow name Fatah. Fatah greeted when we arrived and arranged cold drinks and small plates of food for us (no charge). He gave us a quick overview of the City and recommended places to see and offered a planned route to suit the number of days we were there. He also organized a travel agent to come to the hotel to arrange a 10 day tour through Turkey. There are plenty of restaurants in the neighbourhood as well as small shops. It is an excellent base while in Istanbul.

Room Tip: ask for a room on the courtyard (back)

This 20 room hotel is owned by a young man,Fateh and operated by him and his family. It was the family home of his grandfather. It is effectively "just around the corner" from two main monuments, the Blue Mosque and Hague Sofia(in Sultan Ahmed). We booked a standard double room but were shifted to a superior room without extra cost. The standard rooms are a little "tight" but fairly consistent with similar European hotels at the same price point. The superior room is quite large with more than enough floor space to allow easy access to one's baggage, since wardrobe space is a little restricted. The staff was uniformly helpful and cooperative. Breakfast (included)is extensive although with an emphasis on Turkish cuisine (cold cuts and cheese) and sweet food like cakes.

There is a rooftop terrace not being used at the moment – possibly this is a seasonal matter but it is equipped for eating and food service. Staff willingly proposed taking our breakfast upstairs but we did not press the point. There is a complimentary late afternoon tea – supper of sweet and savoury foods and Turkish wine.Very pleasant! Although I did not expect it,just sitting down in the lobby resulted in the offer of tea/coffee etc.

They have a very cooperative relationship with a next door travel agency which were used because our forward planning neglected a couple of sites outside the city. While it is better to organise everything before travel on the grounds of cost saving, we thought the travel agency very reasonable.

Considering that on the same street bounded by the closest two cross streets, there are hotels on either side, filling the entire street, so I suppose objectively, many other hotels would offer similar rates and services. However I found my experience so pleasant,I would certainly return without considering any of the competition.

Room Tip: Stairs could be a problem for those with troublesome knees, so ask for a lower floor and also check...

What a lovely little hotel. Walking distance to all the main tourist areas and the staff are amazing they cannot do enough for you. So friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are lovely and clean and are beautifully furnished. The added bonus was the lovely breakfast eaten on the roof top terrace (beautiful)
