“one of the best places I have been”

It is one of the nicest hotels in Istanbul. In my stay of 3 weeks in Istanbul, I stayed in 5 hotels, and "best point hotel" was without any doubt the best one. In particular, it is a great place for couples! very romantic interior design.

To begin with, this hotel is perfect located in Sultanahmet, close to sights and restaurants. Upon check in the staff wanted us to sit down, but all we wanted was to get to the room. After repeatedly refused both (free?) food and drink we finally got our room. Not a good start on our vacation but after that the staff were better.

The room was on the ground floor right by the reception so it was kind of noisy. The room itself was clean and had a nice shower although we hadn't any hot water the first night. The breakfast area on the rooftop was nice but the coffee and selection of bread could have been better.

If you can put up with persistent hotel staff and not book a room on the ground floor, Best Point is an ok hotel.

Room Tip: Don't stay at ground floor, pretty noisy

I stayed 6 nights at this hotel and my experience was fully satisfactory. I found its location ideal to explore Istanbul, rooms were large and very comfortable, staff was helpful and very friendly. Breakfast at the terrace with a magnificent view was one of the highlights. Highly recommendable.

The hotel has a wonderful location and the views from the terrace make one very aware that one is in Istanbul. There is a complimentary wine and snacks period in the afternoon and sweets are available in the evening. The rooms were comfortable--if a bit oddly shaped due to the building. The staff was attentive and ready to help in any situation. Simply a great choice.

We recently spent three nights at the Best Point hotel, and found it an excellent choice. The location is perfect for walking to the historical buildings, and is very quiet indeed. The room was well appointed and spotlessly clean, and the staff were very helpful and eager to please. The owner/manager Fatih, was very informative, and helped us to make best use of the short time we had there. The breakfast was delicious, served on the roof terrace with good views of the Sea of Marmora. We found the hotel to be of good value, and would certainly recommend it to other visitors.

Room Tip: choose a room on the garden side to be sure of a really quiet night

This great little hotel fulfilled what we wanted to start our Istanbul & Turkey trip. We had a flight change and moved our stay up a night--no problem. Picking us up at airport late and with little notice--no problem. Very clean, all staff extremely friendly and helpful. Loved the location; on the edge of the best part of Sultanahmet area so quieter at night, but still a couple of minutes walk to anything. One thing some would find off-putting but we enjoyed was the entertainment provided by the local cats who hang out across the street. Made our evening (complementary) wine and backgammon ritual outside even better than just people watching.

Our stay in Best Point Hotel was the ice on the cake for an amazing trip to Istanbul. This cozy little hotel and its professional, friendly and helpful staff made our trip even more satisfying. Perfectly located (5 min from Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia), the roof-top views we enjoyed while having the excellent buffet breakfast are something to remember. Rooms were very clean and complementary snacks, beverages, fruit and appetizers were always available. The surroundings have plenty of life (shops, bar, restaurants, etc) within a 5 to 10min walk. Totally recommended!!.
