As we were looking for an active sightseeing in Istanbul, a good piece of advice from the hotel's reception was really precious. We were provided with a free map of the city and Ozgur had an angel's patience to answer our numerous questions on sightseeing objects, opening times and transportation. And he knows the very best place to buy coffee at Egyptian Bazaar, still enjoying the purchase so much ;)
The reception was very helpful in arranging transfer, everything worked out very smoothly (which is truly important, knowing the traffic on Monday) and was cost-effective.
The highlight of the hotel is the terace with a splendid views of the surroundings, truly the best place for one to enjoy a breakfast.
Having a safe in our room was a great plus, is free and makes you worry-free about keeping passports and bigger amounts of money.
The district is very safe, we were back from Sultanahmet usually around 1-2 am, as it was Ramadan time (and yes, having a dinner together with thousands of people with many invitations to join is a lifetime experience) and never had any security problems.
We will definitely come back.More
