Prior to making a reservation here, we had asked specifically for a quiet room that was non-smoking. We learned very quickly the first evening that this hotel is adjacent to an incredibly loud music-blaring bar that stays open playing loud music until 2-3 a.m. It seems unconscionable that a hotel to whom a request for a quiet room is made would fail to disclose the proximity of the hotel to an unbelievably loud bar. Incredibly, after the first night we asked to change rooms and were told that the music would be louder in other rooms. In addition, we were supposedly on a non-smoking floor but much of the time smoke would come in through a malfunctioning vent in the room. When we complained about this the front desk's solution was to send up a maintenance person with a can of some kind of spray. The location of the hotel was otherwise great so other hotels on this street far from the loud bar would be fine. Don't stay in this hotel unless you are willing to hear loud vibrating music until 3 a.m. and don't care about cigarette smoke in your room.

Room Tip: To choose a good room, choose a different hotel.

Trendy hotel in a perfect location in Istanbul, near the best restaurants and lounges but a short walk from the Galata bridge. Good on-side hammam and pool, that are included in the price of the hotel.
We had an issue with the smell of smoke in our room, but the hotel addressed it very quickly and effectively. Highly recommended!
Note: rooms are a bit on the small side

Stayed here for 3 nights in May. The location is great. Rooms are clean and as stated in other reviews a bit small. Other problem is they still have smoking rooms. As the hotel was fully booked (good for them) I got a smoking room! Really terrible... So be extra sharp when you book and say you specifically dont want a smoking room. Breakfast is good. Staff is friendly.

Room Tip: Avoid a smoking room...

perfect location only 2 min walk to the sishani subway station and 5 min walk to the tunnale station
even if u wanna go to taksim street it takes only 5 min walking, so most of the time u don't need taxi

the disadvantages:
1-small rooms
2-its very noisy place during the weekends until 2 am there was a loud music from the bar & street

Our four nights stay at the hotel was okay. Reception was helpful with good knowledge of English; Rooms were consistently clean although a tad small; The breakfast buffet serves all tastes. The Pera area is a decent location with walking distance from Istiklal Street, Taksim Square, and the Galata Tower.

Caveat: there's a nightclub shouldering the hotel, and its doors remain open leading to very loud music being heard all night. Good luck catching some good night sleep!

I have been here a lot of times, alone on busines trip and once with my wife and some friends. the location is perfect for visiting the area north of the Golden Horn (Galata, Ortakoy etc), surrounded by the 19th century city, hundreds of restaurants and beautiful bars etc. You can also easily walk to Sultanhamet crossing the Galata Bridge. The Hotel is small, quiet, rooms are comfortable (no luxury at all !). Breakfast is very good.

Room Tip: ask for a quiet room on the back
