Reviewed September 1, 2013

I was there 3 times as I go to Tashkent to meet my girlfriend several times in the year, hotel, staff, location are quite ok, I've been wondering why they don't put a nice european restaurant in the premises, perhaps Italian, it would be successful if they manage to serve real Italian food , I eat Italian when abroad, from the hotel I always had to go out to a free standing Italian restaurant in town. My girlfriend thinks the same too. Anyway keep it up , good hotel indeed.

This was my second trip to Tashkent and second stay in the Dedemon hotel. First time I was fully satisfied and that was reason for booking it for second trip. However, this time, August 18-20 and AUG 21-24, 2013, it started with AC not functioning in my room. Next day I have to call two times reception, to get finaly response by two mechanics that worked in my room for one hour without sucess. After that I was moved in the other room where I discovered that bed is in very bad und unacceptable conditions. After leaving Tashkent for one day, I returned back, form long day trip, and despite prepaid booking, receptionist did not have appropriate room for me. After half an hour he give me smoking room on the first floor. Room was no ready. Somebody was using bed; bathroom was used with towels not replaced and some garbage in the room. I rejected to accept the room, and had to wait another half an hour to get acceptable room. Despite really friendly staff, I had to request twice my registration card (important documentin Uzbekistan) as well as they missed to wake me up on 3:00am for my trip to Airport.
I am sorry to say, but I would not recommend this hotel to anybody, before some renovation happened (carpets and beds), as well as staff professional skills improvement to the four stars level hotel.

This place is a good choice for a business hotel in Tashkent. Located in the very city center, just across the street from Alaysky bazaar. Staff is very friendly. Standard rooms are very small, so make sure you get a deluxe one, which is nice and spacious. Rooms are clean. There is a kettle in your room so you can make yourself a cup of tea or coffee. Internet connection works ok. There are both indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a good gym. Breakfast is rather disappointing though and spoils the whole impression about the hotel, which otherwise is rather pleasant.

Room Tip: Make sure you get a deluxe room, as the standard one is pretty small.

In Feb have been in conference in Dedeman Silk Road Tashkent and stayed 3 nights over there. My colleagues and I have not regretted that have chosen this Hotel.
Breakfast-very tasty; service-excellent (very friendly hotel staff); amenities and facilities-very good; rooms- needs some renovation.

I stayed one night at the Dedeman Silk and it was very good as a staring point at Uzbekistan. The room was clean, there was fast Internet, and there is a nearby pool garden. Inside the hotel there is an ATM and a bank to get your currency converted, which proved to be very handy, as there are not really ATM's outside on the street. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Stayed for four nights. Overall very good value for money and a good central location.
Pre-booked via dedeman.com a standard room (called superior). Check-in went very fast and smooth. Room was very small. Should have taken a premium room (called Deluxe), which are 50% larger and only a little bit more expensive.
Room was proper and everything was working. Windows start at a height of around 1.2 meters only. Gives the room a even smaller feeling.
Hotel staff very helpful, polite and friendly.
There is free internet, however veeery slow but good enough for emails.
Hotel has a very nice pool (indoor and outdoor).
Breakfast is good with a large choice.
Check-out was a total disaster. Checked-out around 1800 hours the day before my flight. Only one staff to handle all guests. People jumping the line left and right. Process smooth till credit card was charged, but then suddenly problems to print out an invoice (there was no problem printing out a statement, however). No manager around nor reachable on the phone. Took the better part of two hours to finally get an invoice. Really frustrating, unnecessary and leaving a bad aftertaste on an otherwise nice stay.
Still would recommend this hotel in Tashkent.

Room Tip: The standard/superior rooms are very small. Recommend to take a Deluxe room.
