I spent in this hotel 3 nights in March. The hotel is nice, made with a luxurious outlook, I would like to find other similar 3-star hotels...There is a sauna and other facilities which I didn't visited. The room was nice, big TV with satellite, no mini-bar, a safe. The bathroom was nice, but smelly (no ventilation). I had the breakfast only two times, however they brought us still the same (like all others), for such hotel, the I would expect more. The staff was a bit cold, however no claim. the hotel is situated relative far away from the airport (In Asghabat is everything long away), but the streets are wide and empty, with car you are there within a half an hour.
I slept, short but good, the hotel is very still.
I paid 100$ per night with breakfast.
The Turkmens are VERY friendly, the city is built new within last 15 years and it is to see everywhere - new buildings, streets, lamps, etc. You can feel here the similarity with UAE, but here is no sheikh...(but the gas and oil:-))
For next time I probably choose the hotel again.
From other points of interest I would propose the basar, which is extremly great and maybe the under earth lake - hot lake in a cave, 100m down with approx 36°C, called Kow-Ata, 90km from Asghabat.More
