The food was very good and the atmosphere pleasant. We managed to finish our meal before anyone started to smoke.

Our group weekly outing arrived having four more persons than planned. No problem, just a quick and efficient solution with smiles all round.
Requesting the owner to provide a selection of starters and main courses was a stroke of genius. Efficient service, brief descriptions of the food and a selection that catered to all tastes, even the extreme. Additional spices allowed the more adventurous to indulge and the more timid to dare! The food was hot and fresh and the service was excellent. An ideal location for the group with a selection that caters for all tastes.
Three of us returned a few days later and can confirm the first occasion was not the exception...best so far in Dushanbe
Being used to the prices in Uzbekistan, the prices here were quite a shock but so well worth it because the food was truly delicious. Proper hot and well seasoned food was what we missed. A must try when in Dushanbe!
This is the only Indian/Nepalese restaurant left in the town, now that te Delhi Darbar on Rudaki has closed down. It offers all the great well-known Indian dishes in a nice setting on the first floor (unfortunately they do not serve thali).
It was a welcome break to be able to devour some delicious Indian curries and dal with nans over lunch -- our first Indian restaurant encounter in Central Asia. The place was packed with office goers and other locals. It looked like we were the only tourists there. The service was quick, and the waitresses were very friendly and courteous!
