With such modest tariff and obviously positioned for the tourists, we frankly didn't expect the quality of food, cleanliness and service... plus the view over the rail line and to the ocean was fantastic. Great ambiance!

We stayed at this hotel on the last day of our trip to Sri Lanka. I was not prepared for the stunning view as I was only going to be here for a few hours. The room was immaculate and spacious. The dinner buffet was quite varied and provided something for everyone. They were so kind that they packed us breakfast as we were leaving at a very early hour to catch the flight. The infinity pool was the best feature of this hotel. You can swim as you gaze at the ocean. I had left a dress inadvertently and when I called them from the US, they said they had it and would pass it on to my tour operator. I was so appreciative of their honesty and promptness in this matter.
