The Mount Lavinia Hotel is steeped in history and is well worth a visit . We enjoyed a seafood restaurant on the beach, with oil lamps providing the atmosphere together with the waves acting as a backdrop. After selecting your fish from the kitchen precinct, you await its arrival. Great taste, magnificent Lobster Thermador. A seranade by the travelling musicians made this a night to remember. A must see is the cave by which Lavinia found her way to the Governors rooms for their regular dalliances.Thoroughly recommend this as a meal and sight seeing venue/location
