Before I beging my trip I searched a lot for a safe company to hire a good driver for my journey. Based on the positive reviews I received about this company despite its relatively high prices, I chose this firm. Today is the last day of my trip and very pleased with my decision , it was worth every penny. Our driver Buddhika was a law abiding, polite, caring, helpful and very calm one and he kept in mind every tiny detail we told him. If we were exhausted and could not complete our daily schedule for any reason he would insert it in the next day’s itinary so that we would not miss it. He would check all the programs from the night before, in round about roads of Sri Lanka I didn’t feel any discomfort due to his safe and secure driving. In the end, I can firmly assert that he was more than just a driver , we felt his presence by our side strongly , with his efforts we fully touched the real Sri Lanka. Local Restuarants, Sri Lankan friut, local cigarretes and anything legal ,you ask him once and he’ll provide.He stands for Professional principles to its fullest, he was the best driver and tour guide I encountered in all my travels around the globe. During the trip, I felt i was in the hands of a fully trained driver . To sum up, if you go to Sri Lanka, do not miss this company and Boddhika.

I booked a car and driver for a 17 day trip to Sri Lanka in March. Sharon, the contact point was super efficient and very helpful. Our driver Chathu, delightful. Good English, a careful driver (the traffic is horrendous) very informative about the country and very sensitive to our wishes. He would recommend things to see but also happy to take up our suggestions. A wonderful trip.

We decided to spend 16 days in Sri Lanka, travelling to see the sights plus spending time relaxing on the beach. Sharon, as our initial contact with Genuine Sri Lankans, was very patient and informative, helping us through the planning process...such a great way to set up for our holiday and great customer service.
As for our driver, Buddika was there to ensure we had the best time. He succeeded on every front.
We immersed ourselves in local experiences, tried different local foods and went to places outside our itinerary that Buddika recommended. We had a few specific requests and Buddika accommodated those with no issues whatsoever. He also was an excellent travel companion, sharing jokes and life experiences....we feel we made a friend in Buddika during our travels together. I would highly recommend him for your travels in Sri Lanka. His driving skills were also excellent and he was punctual, read the traffic and got us to all the places without use of navigation devices. In such a big country, that was impressive.
Our final itinerary and highlights included:
Negombo: Fish market
Sigiryia: Sigiryia rock climb, cultural ruins and Elephant Safari
Dambulla: Dambulla caves, cultural show
Kandy:T emple of the Tooth, botanical gardens
Nuwara Eliya: Tea gardens/scenery/cooler climate, Horton Plains, train to Ella
Ella: scenery
Udawalawa: Elephant nursery
Yala: Yala national park safari
Mirissa: The beach, restaurants and atmosphere
Hikkaduwa: Great beach break, Galle Fort
Colombo: Dutch Hospital district, restuarants,Tuk Tuk ride in peak hour traffic
To Sum up, you can't go wrong with Genuine Sri Lankans as a company and Buddika as a driver to show you the "real" Sri Lanka.

I and my friends spent wonderful vacation in Sri Lanka. This was because we Genuine Sri Lankas Tours.
We were impressive to GST's service starting from Sharon's always quick response and suggestion on our itinerary arrangement. In the Colombo one-day tour, we were lucky to have Koshala as our tour guide. He was very knowledgable on Sri Lanka's history and culture, not mentioning his passion to the country! For the remaining 10-day hour around the island, Canaka was our best parter. He adjusted the itinerary
to better accommodate our schedule and preference. He was good in driving to brought us to every place safely. The beautiful landscape, lovely animals, kind people, clean environment and great seafood....everything in Sri Lanka was so unforgettable!
If you are planning trip for Sri Lanka, GST definitely is your best choice!
