On our last day we lunched at Semondu, in the beautifully restored former Dutch Hospital Building in central Colombo. Semondu offers fine dining and a good menu encompassing seafood, local and international cuisine in a large high ceiling-ed room.
We shared an East Coast Seafood Salad - prawns, lobster and fish with fresh crispy greens in a honey mustard
For mains, the hubby ate the semondu Famous Baked Crab. I had a seafood trio with salmon, shrimp and rock lobster.
Served with accompaniments both mains were to die for
