Fine dining restaurant at the Hilton Colombo serving European cuisine with an open-kitchen concept. It wasn't busy at all the Saturday night my wife and I dined there.
The restaurant's not so big and is dimly lit. The ambience is nice (even romantic) for a sit-down dinner especially if you get a corner table facing the garden.
The restaurant's expensive. But the taste and quality of the food served was very good. The menu offers little variety. If you are looking for chicken, you only have one option. But the menu offers good selection for vegetarians. Seafood dishes are expensive.
The bread tasted good but could've been softer and warmer. The main course dish (wine-braised chicken) we ordered was filling. The appetizer and dessert were delicious.
The mocktails we ordered were a bit of a disappointment. The fresh fruit punch was more of a sugar-free papaya juice than a mocktail.
Service was professional and good but the staff could be more attentive.
