The weather during our stay was not great for golf. We turned up for a game on a day when the heavens opened. Some people were out there trying but u could see the 9th green from the clubhouse verandah and it was flooded - unsurprisingly. We asked if we could order a drink however we were refused because we weren't members and nor had we played! We did get to play at a later date and it's not really a course that I'd rush back and play. A lot of long par 4's and wet again caused me to lose interest. The back 9,in my opinion plays easier than the front 9. Greens were in decent condition and similar to UK courses. The proshop is well enough stocked but very dark, even the staff agreed with my comments. Make sure you take yr passport with you for proof of identity. We did eat after our game and the menu was varied and good value. Expensive by Sri lankan standards but compared to golf in other major cities, probably priced fairly.
