“Excellent Place - Worth Visiting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 15, 2013

We reached there after very interesting and challanging drive. It is around 30 min. drive from Islamabad. On way we also visited Daman-e-Koh and Memorial of Airblue Aircrash which is also very charming and emotional. Driving is bit difficult for first time on sharp curves and extreme height. Pir Sohawa is good place to visit because of Nice Weather, beautiful and calm atmosphere and delicious food especiallly Bar B. Q. Monal Resturant is simply awsome. Food is delicious with surprisingly very reasonable price.

“View and food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2013

If you want to experience scenic beauty at its very best while having food, go to Pir suhawa. Find a suitable place to sit, grab you bar b que stands, light some fire and enjoy the experience. The place also holds a famous restaurant named Monal. Monal has delicious food and seating arrangement in a terraced manner. If you go to Pir suhawa, park your car, and go for a walk on a trail near by or walk on the road for some time and enjoy the view around. Pir suhawa looks best at night when you can see the road coming up like a nail wrapping around a stick and the city at the bottom. In short, it is the best attraction of islamabad.

“Pronounced Pir Sowawa”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 4, 2013

Great view of Islamabad at night and an interesting drive up to it. Go slow on the way down too if you don't want to fully interact with the drops! The Monal restaurant is there too and worth a visit for food, not as expensive as you may think. Cold in winter so take a jacket and jumper.
