“Best Resturant in UB”
Reviewed July 20, 2012

This restaurant can be found on the top of the Central building on the 17th floor.
I recommend stopping into the sky bar for a drink before heading in to Monet as it is found on the same floor.
The views are amazing and the decor is well done.
The food is impeccable and the service is the best I have experienced in 3 weeks in Mongolia. The prices are the equivalent to a middle range restaurant in Australia but the food is better!
At the end of the meal the maitre de came up to our table and shook our hands and thanked us for dining at the restaurant.
It was a great experience and I was disappointment we only had time to dine there once.

“Fantastic view in opulant surroudings with excellent food”
Reviewed July 18, 2012

This restaurant on the 17th floor of the Louis Vitton building takes your breathe away when you walk in the door, of the most fabulous wide views of Ulaanbaatar in the valley surrounded by mountains. The decor is stunning, the service was excellent (they speak English also) and the food was well presented and really good. For Mongolia, this place really blew me away.

“great view of the Sukhbatar square”
Reviewed July 3, 2012

that view is actually the best of the restaurant as prices are somewhat elevated but the food is good and tres European! Other high end restaurants like Azurro tend to have similar prices

“Amazing View”
Reviewed June 26, 2012

The view from Monet is spectacular - make sure you go on a clear night and you can see what feels like the whole of UB. Service was impeccable and the food was delicious, however, the portion sizes are TINY!!! The more you pay the less you eat.

“Very enjoyable”
Reviewed June 9, 2012

This was quite a change for me from the regular fare I've experienced in other parts of UB. Apart from the spectacular views (during lengthy sunset and twilight at this time of year) from the 17th floor of Central Tower on Sukhbaatar Square, the menus for both food and wine were rather nice. The service was quite good, the presentation showed that the chefs had made an effort, and the ambience was such that all diners could have an enjoyable evening, hold conversations without being overwhelmed by din from other tables. The selection of French wines looked interesting, but I chose an Australian red which I know well - and I'm sure it tasted better here than it did back home. I'll be back.
