“Khaan Buuz? Khaan Best!”
Reviewed April 8, 2012

In an town of culinary delights foodies will find themselves genuinely impressed by the authentic Mongolian spread at Khaan Buuz. As the name states, the delicious buuz are the specialty here but don't be afraid to branch out as the menu offers a number of delectable dishes including tsuvian, Russian salad, and hard boiled eggs. Although branches can be found throughout UB, the location across from the State Department Store is the crown jewel of the franchise with its charming cafeteria style interior and proximity to the Golmot Bank ATM. There is no where better place to stop for a quick bite after dodging vodka fueled punches at one of UB's fantastic nightclubs.

“Quick Mongolian Food”
Reviewed December 28, 2011

If McDonald's serves only Mongolian food it would be called Khan Buuz.

The fast food chain serves the traditional Mongolian dumplings in mass quantities. If you had Mongolian buuz you know what it is; stuff and then steamed meat (mutton) dumplings. You would go to KB on two occasions: after a drunken night of partying or for a quick hankering for Mongolian food. On either occasions it will serve the purpose.

The food is cheap and the service is usually average. No one speaks English but you'll get by using hand gestures if you don't speak Mongolian.
