“The Palace looks beautiful from outside and well worth taking some photos.”
Reviewed June 30, 2013

We did not go into the Palace as we did not know that we could visit it. It looked beautiful from the outside all painted white and gold. I took some photos from the outside while walking around the city.

“A photo "opportunity"”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

OK so it is not open to visitors and you are not going to spend all day here. If you fancy a photo opportunity/challenge come here before late morning, say before 10:30, and try for a shot that is from a different angle and minimise the effect of the railings. I always like to get a photo of the national flag of places I go to - the one here is large and [of course] it is in perfect condition. Some of the building features are worth a telephoto shot, which, unlike some other places in town, does not get the police swooping down on you. The examples I have put up were shot at 08:00 - a little patience to avoid the traffic. You might use Photoshop to take out the red & white transmitter mast..

“A Quick View, No Visitors Allowed”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

While on your way to Wat Si Saket there is a chance to see the Presidential Palace.

The entire complex is gated and guarded. You cannot enter the complex. You can and are allowed to take photos from the street. \

5 minutes maximum.
