I have been here several time, as a tour guide and i always find that i like this place a lot. If you come to Vientiane Capital, this is one of the highlight place. Dress code for lady. No tank top, No short, but Capri is fine. You will pay for entrance fees 65 US Cents (5000Lak). Very nice and out standing architect. You get to see a lot of ancient artifacts, which are preserve at this building, including one of the megalith type of stone jar from Xiengkhouang province. Very beautiful garden and only 15 minutes walk from the city center.

Another building that have survived the battle and revitalized by French people. There are a lot of artifacts that gives you quite a story for each, good thing our tour guide was eager to answer all our questions about them.

It is not as glittery as some of the other Wats but it is no less impressive and contains many old atifacts. Entry is 5000 kip and you must dress modestly. Women need to cover their legs with a sarong if they are wearing shorts.

Wat Ho Pra Keo is very different from the other wats that you will see in Vientiane. It has a more ancient feel than many of the other temples and has very unique and old artifacts displayed inside. This is one of the few temples where modest dress is enforced, so be prepared to change or borrow a sarong/scarf.
