I fell in love with the wat since the first time
I set my foot on its yard. Wat Phra Keow is not as dazling as the That Luang stupa with its golden color. Instead, it looks very humble with its earth color: the terracota bricks, the old wood, the stone and the intricate brown carvings. Overall the wat and its garden does give me a peaceful impression.

Just another temple with some dragons, but if your there anyway you might as well visit this one as Vientiane has its limitations

This place was a royal temple and houses a replacement of the green Buddha (because, it's claimed, the original one was nicked - you can find it, so our guidebook says, in Bangkok).
