“Best coffee in Vientiane”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2014

This cafe and only one other (Nomad) are undoubtedly the only two in Vientiane that serve excellent coffee. I am told the owner/barista grew up in Australia - and he has certainly learnt how to make a latte, flat white or cappuccino to fussy Aussie standards. It is worth going to just for a coffee. Although the cafe also serves great breakfasts and good NZ lamb. It's not in the city centre but easy to find on a bike or tuk-tuk. Just a shame it is not open for dinner.

Other cafes in Vientiane could learn a few tips on making a serious cup of coffee here.

“THE place for breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2014

I go here regularly for breakfast and have always had consistently good food. The coffee is truly amazing, the barista really knows what he's doing. On the downside, he's the only one who can make coffee at all, so if he's out then you need to wait until he comes back or just leave it. They also do lovely fresh juices without added sugar, try the detox or the fresh orange juice.

It's located out of town near the Sengdara gym, just by the flower shops after the roundabout. About 15 minutes bicycle ride from town, worth venturing out for. The breakfasts are about 25,000 kip, coffee around 15,000 kip and juices 21,000.
