“Delicious food and delivered!”
Reviewed January 22, 2014

We have ordered a few times from Jamil and Zahid's restaurant which has been a great treat. The food is delicious and affordable and the portions are big enough that we often have some left to snack on in the afternoon, There is a good variety of vegetarian and meat dishes to choose from and everything we have ordered has tasted great. If you want to place an order for delivery, be sure to call ahead as Jamil gets busy at lunch so it is best to order for delivery before or after the lunch hour.

“A very good eating experience in spite of appearances.”
Reviewed January 20, 2014

The food was really good and good portions. A hard place to find but worth the search. The owner is a bit eccentric as he enjoys taking videos of customers and posting them on You Tube. If you are an exhibitionist and enjoy Indian food then this is the place for you. Great value and choice in food. The restaurant itself is a bit basic but it is worth toughing that out. Highly recommended experience.

“Delicious food!”
Reviewed January 17, 2014 via mobile

My friend and I came here on the recommendation of our hostel and it was amazing. The food is great and the owner, Jamil, is a great character! Along with the added perk of free WIFI, this is an absolute gem of a restaurant and definitely worth a visit while in Vientiane.

“Awesome place to eat in Vientiane (and cheap too!)”
Reviewed January 17, 2014 via mobile

Was directed here by the hostel we were staying at; we were told it was great Indian food for cheap.
And it was exactly that.
Amazing food, great atmosphere, the staff were lovely. Jamil, the owner, was super friendly. And everything thing was very reasonable.
Would highly recommend.

Slightly hard to find, but really worth it.

“A must-visit when in Vientiane”
Reviewed January 11, 2014

When in Vientiane, you must visit this unassuming family-run restaurant, which has some of the best Punjabi food we've eaten in Southeast Asia. We seek halal food every city we travel to. The food is delicious and affordable, the menu has many options, and the portions are generous. There are a large variety of vegetarian and meat dishes to choose from, home made yogurt, naan breads, daals, kebabs, and lassis. We had garlic naan, chapati, the eggplant dish, spinach kidney beans, and fresh home-made yogurt, all for 35,000 Kip. The healthiest, most satisfying meal we've had in Laos. Mr. Jamil and his family are kind, obliging hosts. We visit this restaurant daily when in Vientiane. We highly recommend it! Sep lai lai.
