“one of the most beautiful of Buddhist Temples”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

Sharp nosed Buddhas, restrained colours, quiet courtyard, and an interesting history make this a not-to-be-missed site in Vientiane.

“Worth the visit”
Reviewed March 13, 2013 via mobile

This temple is very interesting and old. Unfortunately there is not enough of information readily available to tourists. But still worth going in Vientiane.

“great experience”
Reviewed March 4, 2013

I was inspired by Buddhism because of my friend back in Australia, who has been instrumental in me taking deep interest in Buddhism. I was in Wat Ki Saket, particularly to experience the Buddhist statues and knowing more about the religion. The statues were good to look at. It will take a lot of time to look at the place in its entirety. It gave me a feel of a park from the outside.

“lots of buddhas”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

You need a good guide to get the best of any of the wats. The main attraction is the cloister with lots of statues. Dont forget to look up!

“Amazing temple”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

After traveling a lot in Asia, or for along time in Laos, you might not be very thrilled at the idea of visiting another temple. However, this is an extremely nice temple. When you walk in, it is as if you are in a different world. We loved it very much and really took our time to enjoy it as much as possible.
