Nice Location Budget Hotel Nice Bed Can improve the toilets and locks in the rooms.
Nice food for breakfast that comes complimentary
No Lift. so try to get it in the first floor There is a massage center opposite to this hotel which is very good.

Room Tip: If you get in the first floor you are lucky.

This was not my choice, i got dumped here by the ratbag freelance "taxi drivers".
Not knowing any better i stayed here for 2 nights because its only a 10 minute walk to the thai consulate. There are no cafe's or air conditioned restaurants in this area, i ate mostly from 7/11 type shops.
Budchadakham does have a restaurant inside but is only open between 7.30am to 4pm.
The room was rundown but quiet and comfortable, cost was $21 a night.

This is a basic hotel a good tuk tuk ride away from the river. It's a very handy place for people needing to do the Thai visa run, the embassy is not far away. On a very busy road, I requested a back room for some quiet which is what I got. My room was basic. The shower room needed a refurbishment but having a look in some of the larger rooms the shower rooms did look a lot better.

The breakfasts were ok for the price paid, the omelettes were very good. All included within the hotel price.

Wifi was good on the top floor. Note there is no lift.

I have to say the staff were really friendly especially the lady on reception and the manager. Always a smile, hello and conversation which goes a long way.

It's also opposite a Dmart for any food shopping plus a mini mart next door. Could not recommend any restaurants. There is a Joma down the road, about 20 min walk (not to be confused with the one by the river)

Room Tip: Get a room off the main road for some peace

We just returned from our stay at the "Blue Orchid" (it's much easier for me to say than the indigenous name) and had a very nice stay. Recommended by another hotel in the Orchid Group, it looks as like alot is going on. Our room was really large and and quite comfortable. The manager was new but very nice, Mr. Kedang at the front desk was helpful in helping us find the Vietnam Embassy. We enjoyed our included breakfast and the coffee was good. It looks like they are really working hard to make this a comfortable property. Thanks for a pleasant stay!
