I have just arrived to Lao and don't know the various dishes and how spicy they might be. Lao kitchen has a menu that explains the dishes in English and indicates the level of spicy with 1-3 chili symbols. When taking the order the waiters ask if you like the dish spicy or not. This gave me the chance to try Laap, one of the traditional dishes without burning my mouth that can handle a little spicy, but not too much. I liked it, but unfortunately I can not give an opinion on the quality of the dish as I don't really know what it is supposed to taste like. On me the restaurant made a very good impression. I recommend it to people who like me don't know much about the typical cuisine and want to get to know it.
