The location is great, restaurant, rooms and pool area are very clean and breakfast is very good. Unfortunately service depends very much on who is on duty. I stayed for 4 days and the first 2 days I got 1/2 roll of toilet paper per day. When I asked for more nothing happened. I ended up going to a shop buying my own toilet paper which should not be necessary at a hotel that promises "comfort and enjoyment". Also service in the pool area could improve. You can go to the bar in the lobby, order drinks and have them served at the pool, but nobody comes to take your order.

I recently completed a four night stay at the Ansara hotel and had a delightful experience. The hotel staff were courteous, friendly, and helpful. While the rooms may be a tad dated, I found mine to be charming with modern amenities, including coffee/tea maker, ample toiletries, and a very comfortable bed. The balcony was a nice touch to take in the lovely view of the property over your favorite "cuppa" or glass of wine. One side note: there is a bit of construction going on in the neighborhood so do bear in mind that you may wake up a bit earlier to the noise, but this is certainly not the hotel's fault. The breakfast spread was quite generous, with any type of egg dish available for order. The hotel itself is tucked away down a side road with easy access to the Night Market as well as a variety of bars, cafes, restaurants, and mini markets. Highly recommended!

This hotel is very well located, minutes from the night market and a large number of eateries. Perfect for all travellers with scenic grounds and gracious buildings. The rooms are very well appointed, spacious and comfortable - free minibar. Pool is large and perfect after a long day traveling or sight seeing. Would strongly recommend you stay here. Beautiful!

This is such a lovely hotel. Great staff, nice breakfast included, very clean and nice touches such as free soft drinks. Shoe polish and mosquito spray!! Just a couple of points if remedied would get a five star!

Shower over the bath - a lot of Europeans are tall. The showers are too low agony to have a shower - move them up. Small people can still shower.

Same with wardrobe - I am a business woman I have dresses!! The wardrobe is made for suits!!

Restaurant is lovely but it is heavy beautiful French food or burgers / sandwiches with fried. Some noodle soup, a spaghetti or a curry would be nice.

A great stay though and will be back.
