We had a great dinner at this restaurant. Seriously, nothing left on the plate because we were soooooo hungry. Salad is the best taste. Love it. The Manager is very friendly. Highly recommend this French restaurant.

I simply love this restaurant. The cuisine there is gastronomic, imaginative, the presentation "artistic", the location in a small quiet street is perfect, the Chef is deliciously sympatic, the atmosphere is romantic, I went there for lunch, and I was completely charmed. If you like to be impressed, don't miss this place.

I was the only person dining here at 7 pm so a bit early for the restaurant because there were several waitstaff. The head waiter is besuited so a bit formal to begin with. I had the Serrano ham for a starter followed by the Tilapia special which was on a bed of ratatouille with a crab bisque surrounding the fish. Complex ingredients made for a delicious dish. The wine by the glass choice of a French white was a perfect match. The cafe compilation dessert was a really well prepared and presented taster plate (pictured) with the coffee. Flat white coffee was not bad. Everyone warmed up when a few more tables filled. A really good solo meal. Expensive by Vientiane standards but I thought reasonable value for money considering the quality. Worth a try if you want to go French.

I like the overall vibe of the L'Addresse. Location is right behind the temple smack in the middle of the city. The surrounding area is also good for exploration. Food-wise, not the best in the category but certainly above average.

Their set menu for both lunch and dinner are relatively good value as compared to similar restaurants in Vientiane.

I had 2 course lunch which came out to 75k KIP (about $9 USD). Noticed imported oyster (from France) on the special menu on the table so I ordered one first. The taste was surprisingly fresh so I ordered 2 more (since a set of 3 is 70k KIP as opposed to 25k for each).

The price of the oyster is cheaper than in Ho Chi Minh and Bangkok where it cost 2 to 2.5 times for similar oyster (but of course more expensive than in Europe).

Service is efforted but not polished. The manager had to come by a couple times to help with the waitress.

I'd been here before on previous trips and will likely return again.

This small, French owned restaurant served us some of the best meals of our trip to Laos and Vietnam. The menu is small, but the attention to detail is huge. We loved the roasted duck so much that we went back to this restaurant twice during a three night stay in Vientiane. We enjoyed great French red wine and the price for dinner and wine was very reasonable. The restaurant is steps away from the Ansara Hotel.
