Checked in after viewing a few other hotels near the area. Was impressed with the cleanliness and we decided to stay. Very clean room, bed well made, bathroom spotless. Bonus for me were the cable channels which had good reception and plenty of football action ! Even had a good night sleep despite construction going on next door. Friendly staff that understand english well.Excellent value for money.

What an absolute gem. We have stayed at many, many guesthouse but this one is easily one of the best. The room was large and spacious, and absolutely spotless. The beds and linen top quality and very comfortable. The bathroom was large and clean and everything worked...and surprise, suprise....we were given soap, shampoo and shower caps, replinshed daily. This is definately not the norm in guesthouses. The service was of a high order and very friendly. Each day we were given two bottles of water free of charge.
The guesthoue is very well situated and we were surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Everything was well within walking distance. The best part was that it only cost $23US a day and this inclued a front balcony. What an absolute bargin. Breakfast was also availavle but we mostly opted for JoMa bakery jjust around the corner. We love Asian food but really need to start the day with a Western breakfast.
We actually came back because our flight was cancelled hence the extra pic of a double room and tow single beds. Sooo comfortable, the beds, and large king size singles. Typical asain beds though....very firm. But then, who wants a saggy, baggy bed. I really do not think you will find better valu for your money.
