Love this place! Stay here every time I go into Vientiane. It's clean, comfortable, good location, and the staff are always very nice. Only issue is the dogs barking outside occasionally but that comes with being in the city. They tend to fill up on weekends so you may need to book ahead.

It is a terrible hotel for long stay such as business purpose. Free Wifi is always down and laundry is returned 3-5 days after. Good point is ...... only location.

I have stayed at the Vayakorn Hotel on several occasions and it certainly meets my requirements; clean- very helpful and friendly service and good value for money with many eating places nearby .Will stay there again

Room Tip: First floor south side

We stayed at Vayakorn inn for one night in February.

Our room was on the top floor, so it was a bit of a climb up the stairs, but that was okay for us.

The room itself was very clean, bed was not super soft but slept fine, and the bathroom was a decent size.

The hotel was easy to find, with signs leading the way from the Main Street. The location was great, right in the centre near plenty of restaurants and things to see.

We did not choose to have breakfast and just ate at a local cafe. We paid $36 US for the night, value wise, I think it was great!

Vientiane itself does not have loads to see, but we really enjoyed it, I'd recommend a visit for those who are trying to decide.

As for the hotel, I'd also recommend this accommodation. It certainly lives up to the standard, but done expect super amazing service, the staff love their iPhones and don't speak a lot of English, but for us, this was fine. Give it a try :-)

I was lucky enough to stay at 2nd floor, save time & energy to walk. Perfect view from my room. As guests are not allowed to wear shoes to upstairs, so it is clean at walkway & room. My bathroom is clean as well just like the photos shown in website. I have stayed for four nights and experience no electricity for twice, about 5 minutes each time. TV channels are many to choose but their signal not stable, you may experience blur TV for whole day long. Sleep is not so smooth for some nights because of dogs barking & bugs singing, abit scary for solo traveller if you think alot.

Location is good for me, about 7 minutes to Lao National Musuem and 10 minutes to Saturday night market which is along Mekong river. Local & western restaurants are just nearby, no worries on finding food. You can get cheap noodle soup around the corner to avoid paying USD4 for breakfast.

Staff are friendly but their english is limited. To have better planning, check more on websites and get more information about those sight seeing.

Room Tip: I think 2nd floor is just perfect enough for better view (than 1st floor) and lesser walking (3rd floor & above)
