Nothing authentic Laos about this place except the smiling service but it's a wonderful oasis from the heat and place to catch up on emails/write postcards while sipping a great iced coffee (frozen cappuccino I think). Good sandwiches, wraps, cakes etc too.

Had the most amazing apple pie at Joma...three times! The ice cream sundaes were also very good. And they have a water fountain which is most welcome in the heat.

Nice ambience. The outlet I visited got a play area, good for customers with children. Foods were just okay. I had a BLT, tuna salad, and a ice latte. Pretty pricey though.

Stopped in here on the advice of our driver. He said it was great coffee and it was. It is in the main tourist / backpacker part of town. i didnt eat anything other than a biscuit so cant comment on the food. The place seemed busy so i take it that it has a good following of regulars.

Clean, air conditioned, clean bathroom, comfortable....and a great selection of yummy cakes and treats. We opted for the mango crumble and found it quite tasty! We enjoyed our stop at Joma after a busy day walking/wandering in Vientiane on foot. Order at counter and food is brought to table.
