Very well presented, but hard to find behind the hospital. We stayed 2 hours and then had to drag the kids ( aged 7 and 12) away. We watched documentaries, experienced walking with crutches in a village setting ( steps, bamboo bridges etc) used wheel chairs and learnt even more about the horrific aftermath to the American bombings back in the 1960s. More detailed than Uxo in Luang Prabang. I'd recommend visiting both. Coffee and ice cream available and a 10 minute walk to main bus station, shopping mall

Generally speaking I'm not a massive fan of museum attractions. The COPE centre was an exception to this - very moving and informative. Despite being quite a small exhibition they were able to depict how much the bombing of Laos has affected this country. Worth watching the documentaries in the cinema room. We watched Bomb Harvest - very good. If your knowledge of Laos history is not very deep, this is an absolute must to learn about the mass devastation caused by the US bombing.

Clean, comfortable and cool building made the time spent there a pleasure (except for the feelings the displays brought about). Very sad content but presented very well. Don't miss the movies. Entry is free and you aren't pressured to donate but there are plenty of ways you can. Don't miss this one!

Opportunity to support a charity which helps people who have lost limbs (not just from cluster bombs) and to learn how the millions of unexploded bombs are still being "harvested" safely by experts who train local youngsters.

A place that you should visit if you go to Vientiane. The exhibition makes you aware of the bombs problem in Laos and of the catastrophes that happen because of these bombs. It is also well-explained and there are movies which help you to easily understand the purpose of the association. The exhibition is in english so you would rather understand it. You can buy some gifts and make donations.

On conclusion, it was a very interesting exhibition so don't miss it!
