We took a Tuk Tuk to visit the centre and our driver understood immediately where we wanted to go. We entered and had a look around the exhibition it's a very moving and powerful exhibition, which highlights the problems faced in Laos regarding UXOs. It also highlights the amazing work that is done at the COPE center, helping with the rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities and providing prosthetics to those with missing limbs.
We also watched the documentary Bomb Harvest, which was really good, we ended up purchasing a copy afterwards. I would recommend taking the time to watch at the centre.
There is no cost to enter and they don't put any pressure to donate, but there is the opportunity to donate or purchase merchandise from the shop which helps fund the great work that they do at the COPE centre. You can also buy gift cards for different things, such as a prosthetic leg. We bought a prosthetic leg card to give to someone as a Christmas gift.
I would highly recommend going to visit this centre!
