Lobby, restaurant and the bar got renovated The new chef started to create the upgrade in food. I believe after June, the hotel will be #1 in Kyrgyzstan.

First visit to Bishkek. Was very impressed with quality of Hyatt. Clean, spacious, friendly and helpful staff. King room extremely comfortable, with sitting room and large bathroom. Well equipped gym. Nice bar. Used taxis to get around as temp. Below -10C. Taxis not expensive. Recommended.

This is a nicely appointed, full service hotel in Bishkek, with nice gym, bar and restaurant.

Security is high, important for a city that needs that from time to time. However, the room rates are very high, on par with Moscow, Hong Kong and Tokyo.

Hyatt Regency Bishkek is a very nice hotel. The staff is very friendly. Rooms are also very nice. I have been coming here for years and have always enjoyed the stay. It is easily the best hotel in Bishkek. As of Dec 2011, they are currently undergoing some renovations in the dining and lobby areas. During the renovation of the dining area, the breakfast area has been moved to the bar, but the food is still delicious. Location is close to many good restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

I found this hotel to be fine for a place one could argue is about as far away from anything Americans experience as possible. The restaurant there, amazingly, is pretty decent, which, after an arduous day of hiking, might be advisable. The hotel can arrange hiking tours with a guide, and also you can go see a piece of one of the silk roads and an outdoor museum with various artifacts spanning thousands of years. The countryside immediately beyond town is simply breathtakingly beautiful

Room Tip: Get a guide arranged by the hotel
