We were here for some meetings. We were told to go to the hotel restaurant at 7:00 pm. We arrived on time and ordered our food. We were the first to arrive (a group of 5). Others were served long before us and our meal took over 2 bleeping hours to arrive. It also arrived at different times for each of us. To top it all off, I had the WORST T-bone steak I have ever had in my life. The experience was absolutely awful!!! The company was good though

Those of your reviewers who gave high marks to this place must be challenged in terms of sensory perception. Yes the hotel is clean, yes the people are kind - so is everyone in Bishkek. But kindness and cleanliness are not enough when everything else is so painfully mediocre. The rooms are poky and badly designed, and only come with a shower that requires acrobatic agility to enter. The restaurant staff are slow and surly. It took me an hour to get a pizza - and that was the fastest item on the menu. Unless you are fluent in Russian or Kyrgyz you will find communication is confined to body language, and the occasional groan when you are misunderstood. Avoid breakfast unless you are partial to cold pancakes, tinned fruit and instant coffee. If you are a student of history and seek to re-live the austerity of the Soviet era, this is the place for you. Kyrgyzstan has moved on. This hotel hasn't.

Room Tip: For a good room, go to the Hyatt

What a clean, comfortable, professionally-run, friendly place! I am accustomed to staying in 4- and 5-star hotels - and I love this place. I'm not sure why this hotel is not listed in the "Hotels" section.

PROS:
- AWESOME & convenient location.
- VERY friendly and courteous staff.
- Rooms are clean, modern and comfortable.
- Free breakfast & wi-fi.

CONS:
- Restaurant is way too small. I had to share a table at breakfast, which was fine, but weird.
- Hotel offers transfers to the airport & Almaty a prices that are at least twice what you can find from a reliable travel agent in town.

I will definitely stay here again next time I am in Bishkek!

I am a frequent business traveler to Bishkek, and Park hotel is my favorite pick during the last two years. Very nice hotel in a central location, a walking distance to major attractions and businesses. Unusually to the region, the staff's friendliness and overall service quality did not deteriorate at all during this time. Since January 2012 the wifi is free throughout the building. Unfortunately, due to expansion of the hotel, an open terrace in the back is not functional now, which is a big minus for a summer time, but this is just temporary.

Room Tip: Hotel is adding a new building, so there is some construction noise and dust; hopefully they will be...

I stayed at the Park Hotel for four nights while on a business trip in Central Asia. It is a wonderful little hotel in a great location (about 3 blocks from the central square). The service was fantastic, and the rooms are modern and comfortable! Every time I entered the hotel, I was greeted by name by the front desk staff. While some of the breakfast items were a bit odd, it is easy to eat your fill. And I really appreciated it when they brought breakfast to my room at 5 a.m. prior to an early morning flight. When in Bishkek, stay at Park Hotel!

This is a fairly small hotel 2 blocks off the main square. An old building that has been totally remodeled and more importantly, staffed with well trained, friendly people. I stayed here for 2 weeks. Room was small, but nicely furnished with comfortable mattress, flat screen tv... Breakfast in AM is good, with espresso coffee and a nice touch of local dried fruit and nuts along with more traditional breakfast fare.
