Interesting shaped mall. And interesting concept with a pool park at the top. Theres a cinema and also many western brands inside. Well worth visiting to see the architecture.

I don't know how this became an attraction. It's a mall. Yes it has a unique shape (it looks like a giant circus tent) and their are photographers ready to take a "tourist" photo in front of the building (as well as inside). There is one "ride" inside. You sit in a bench style seat and it goes up and suddenly drops...
As for me, it's a mall. Great stores to chose from and there is a nice food court and even a "green" grocery store downstairs.

A good place for shopping in europeaen cloths brands such as Zara, Massimo Dutti, Mango there is also some turkish brands as Waikiki. third floor dedicatted to children - palyground with attractions. Quite unusual for central Asia, but not of great interest for European and American visitors, I think. As a local person I like Han Shatyr as it offers everything in one place.

Unusual looking from the outside, quite amazing once inside. It is located on the Western End of Nurzhol boulevard - the central promenade of the new administrative centre of Astana.
Inside you find a big selection (at least for Kazakhstan) of shops with a lot of the "western brands" present; on the 4th floor there is a variety of fast-food outlets/restaurants/cafes and on the 5th floor you can relax in a "Beach Club" (haven't been in it) complete with fitness centre and Spa. If you bring your kids there are also a few funfair rides available.
Certainly worth a visit .
