When we booked the hotel, we thought that it was a 4-Star hotel, but it is not by Cambodian or American standards- more like 2-stars. It looked nothing like the pictures posted. The rooms are very run-down, the sheets stained, and the beds were very hard. When we weren’t given the appropriate amount of towels, the staff was very hesitant to provide more towels for some reason and came up to see for himself if we were lying.
There is only one air conditioner that does not properly circulate cool air to reach to one side of the room.
There is also loud Buddhist chanting outside from 4am-8am. Not sure if this happens everyday as we were here for only one day, but I was not able to sleep well.
The roof top bar and pool was nice, smaller than in the photos. Like many reviewers mentioned, the price of food at the hotel restaurant was very pricy. I believe the manager encouraged us to eat and drink there, but we ate elsewhere.
Breakfast was less than average: not many options and very little food. We had to ask the hotel staff to replenish the food.
Overall, the hotel does the job for an affordable price, but we did have better quality service and accommodations at another 3-star hotel in Phnom Penh for the same price.
