The S21 extermination camp is a very difficult place to visit because of the emotional impact. However, it is essential to visit to understand the horrors of genocide. It's very emotional but worth seeing at least once in your life!

A very informative tour of the Killing fields & S21 prison with our guide Visal, his knowledge & family experience with this tour was very sobering! Would highly recommend.

Our tour guide was very talented and explained very well not only what happened in the killing fields and in S21, but also the political and historical contexts, which I found very interesting. The tour gave me a deepened understanding of Cambodia and the horrific episodes that the Cambodian people have suffered from. Nice van which felt safe and was comfortable. The group size was sufficiently small to easily hear our guide at all times. Local guide with native understanding of the history who spoke good English.

We just finished our morning with our wonderful guide Visal. Visal was amazing. The information and background he gave us was like being in a history class. He created the context for what happened and as a person whose family was affected by the genocide he created a personal link to this horrible time. I feel we are better for having learned about this event.

Thanks to Visal and his driver for an incredible morning. I cannot recommend him enough.

Went the genocide museum and killing fields with an open but mind but definitely wasn't expecting what I saw and felt.
I certainly give you an insight into the people of Cambodia and how brutal people can be.
Words can't describe these places you ned to experience it but it certainly is confronting.
