Nice, bright rooms. Lots of space and lovely staff. Convenient location (but can get noisy with the nearby market). Would definitely recommend this hotel!

We took advantage of a "Crash Test Dummy" night to stay at the hotel for reduced cost prior to the official opening. First, that was a fantastic idea! We also wanted a mini-vacation without having to leave the city! The hotel is an oasis off of Sihanouk Blvd. It's strange because most of the streets on that side are a bit posh and this one isn't quite there yet...not dangerous by any means. That being said, the hotel is just a quick turn off the main road, very close to the Independence Monument, Palace, National Museum, Naga Casino, etc.

Check-in was a breeze, the view of the pool and ground floors was lovely. We stayed on the 3rd floor with a corner room with windows on both corner. Lovely aircon! Cable TV, mini-bar and safe. Bathroom was a nice set up with warm water, etc. and amenities like toothbrushes, soap, shampoo and toothpaste. The bed was a bit firmer than I'm used to but still quite nice. I loved the pillows and the blanket (comforter). In this country you usually don't need one, but with the aircon it was nice to snuggle and still have refreshing air!

We took advantage of the restaurant. Very interest food with a collection of Asian fusion and some other things, with a tapas selection. We had the meatballs, pork skewers, chicken parmigona and Peking Duck wraps w/plum sauce. They were great. The bartender was out, but the lady on duty made an excellent Cosmopolitian in his absence. Yes, there were some minor language difficulties and small misunderstandings, but staff was learning which was the whole point and there were NO major problems. The small things like clearing of plates, getting another drink are things I would have expected even in an established locale. The chef came out to check on us and our food which was a very nice touch.

We really wanted to make use of the pool, but I had to work and we were both tried. Internet connection was definitely fast enough. We stayed until right about check-out time!

I was expecting it to be noiser given it is Cambodia and we were on the street side, but pleasant surprise. I'm not saying it was dead silent, but compared to my own street it was quiet!

I will likely go back for dinner.....they were out of the grilled garlic prawns! Would also recommend this along with some other boutique hotels to friends.

Thanks again for the promotions!

I stayed at Hotel Nine for just one night and was very impressed. Just recently opened, the staff were great and out to please, and the decor is very well done and creates a very relaxing atmosphere. The pool is cute, perhaps a little on the small side, but the cafe adjoining it is a lovely place in which to spend some time. I look forward to returning!

Went past this hotel, i had seen it in its former state and wow i looks like its having a total facelift. The location is great, i'm really keen to see the finished product. I travel to Phnom Penh a lot for work any idea when this will be open to the public and what the room rates are?
