“Its kinda OK..”

This place is inside the royal palace..there are some artifacts on display.. If you visit to the royal palace, you can go take a look at this also.. But nothing very fascinating..

“Some interesting artifacts, although a little disappointing.”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

The Royal Palace was a little disappointing, indeed there was very little to actually see, The Silver Pagoda proved more entertaining, although again not many rooms to see and the Emerald Buddha a bit of a let down. No photos allowed added to the disappointment as did the soft drink prices, make sure you take plenty with you.

“pretty place”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

Amazed by the floor! The entire flooring of the pagoda is made of silver, wow! Good visit. Best if can get a tour guide, probably understand more of the things inside.

“Expensive & disappointing”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

This site was the most expensive of all sites that we visited in Vietnam and Cambodia (bar the temples in Angkor!) and didn't feel like value for money. The things to see in the palace are limited, and not really sensational in any way. The pagoda is better but is really just a room full of good and silver items, mainly buddhas, that takes 10 mins to view at best. There are some exhibits (on elephants, the king etc) after the pagoda which are interesting but don't really heighten the visit.

“After 3 attempts we have given up”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

Tried to visit the Royal palace and Silver pagoda on three different days and different times, but every time something was going on so it was shut and we couldn't get in. Entrance fee is $6.5pp and make sure you have long trousers and long sleeve top for both men and women as the guy outside said even if it was open the 3/4 shorts and half sleeves are not sufficient and you couldn't get in. Possibly because the time we were here it was the elections so just check and double check before you visit to avoid disappointment and just wasting money on a tuktuk.
