“Ethnic Cuisine that Hits the Mark”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2014

There isn't a whole lot of Turkish restaurants in Phnom Penh, this may be in fact the only one. An open-ended restaurant with no A/C and a bit of a storefront. However they have done their best with the decorations to make it feel a bit like Turkish.. Anyone who has been to Turkey knows they are warm and welcoming people to guests, and that certainly was the case here, superb service with the greatest of attention. Food was pretty good, menu was simple, so don't expect a large variety of Turkish dishes, its pretty kebab basic, but very tasty. Price was reasonable. Worth a stop by once a month if you are a local.

“Fantastic food for the price!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 17, 2014

Went with a group of 7 people. The food is amazing. You can tell it is fresh food. The owner is from Turkey and was a great chef. The ambiance was great with Turkish music in the background and other lighting fixtures that were gorgeous. The food is not overpriced at all. The food was $4-$10 and worth every penny! The best meal was the chicken kebab for only $6.50...AWESOME! This should be higher on the list as it was some of the best food we've had in Phnom Penh.

Very good middle eastern food. Very happy we came here. Actually we ate here twice. I may never be back in Cambodia but if I am I'll come back here.

“AMAZING”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 9, 2014 via mobile

We, two travellers who have been on the road for three months, just stumbled upon this restaurant. The ingredients were fresh, the chefs and staff extremely friendly and the food delicious. We highly recommend this little restaurant. The food was slightly pricey for Cambodia, but the portions are family style. One appetizer and one main was more than enough food for us!

Roasted eggplant: delicious

We just finished dinner and we're already talking about going back tomorrow!

“Delightfully Turkish”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 28, 2014

Antonio runs a great place and I eat there quite often. I sort of wander in, tell him I'm a little hungry or very hungry and he just sorts of feeds me. Everything is fresh and the portions are generous.

Some people whine that it is expensive -- a meal usually runs about $7-8 -- which is true by Street 172 standards. But you get what you pay for,so suck it up and enjoy your meal.
