“City is named after this”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 4, 2014

Spend an hour or so visiting this, after all, the city is named after this. It is a small buddhist temple on a hillock (artificial) but there is a fee to visit it. What surprised me was offerings of meat and eggs in a shrine on one side of it.

“A historical place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2014

You have to pay - as a tourist - a small entrance fee and then you can explore the foundation place of Phnom Penh.

“Legendary founding place of Phnom Penh”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2014 via mobile

A place to look at Asian historical temple built in 1372, located on hilltop. A perfect place for mediation and relaxation.

“It would be a shame to miss Wat Phnom”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2014

Set up on a small hill, Wat Phnom has a park and trees at its base and although not large, it has a wonderful atmosphere inside.
A visit won't take long, but for me was one of the highlights of Phnom Penh.

“Great Temple”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2014

This is a good visit - most temples in Phnom Penh tend to look the same after a while. This is a great example with enough variety to make it worth the effort.
