“don't miss it”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

as i remember it is located at the back of the royal palace , or at least in a walking distance from it , it is in an area full of attractions so you wont do much effort to get there , it is so nice , small but so well carved and beautiful from inside . as so many others temples the stairs will the first thing to meet you there and then you reach the top where you meet so friendly people and the best thing i liked there was the row of pictures on the top part of the four walls of the temple , they are so meaningful and easy to understand . i stared at these pictures over half an hour before i started to enjoy the beauty of the rest of the temple .

“Worth a Visit”
Reviewed December 26, 2012

Wat Phnom is a pleasant way to spend a little time in Phnom Penh. The hill is atmospheric enough, the history is moderately interesting, the view nice. If you're rsuhed, there are better ways to spend your time, especially if you're beginning to feel "templed out."

“Half an hour's enough”
Reviewed December 22, 2012

If you're in town it's worth 30 minutes to have a look round. Being honest, it's typical of all Wat's in Thailand and Cambodia and isn't particularly spectacular, and if you're temple fatigued it certainly wont be as memorable as somewhere like Wat Po or Wat Arun

Nothing special about it. Just another temple. Lots of kids selling birds, food etc. Foreigners need to pay USD1 to enter.
