The place was crowded the moment we arrived. There plenty of soveniers and handcraft on offerings. Typical Asian market you can find fake designers clothing everywhere. In the center of the market they sold ruby, saphire and gold. Intresting site and well worth of visit. Bargaining skill is needed here.

Its a typical asian market with all kinds of stuff. Everyone will find something to bring home or for themselves. Bargain hard!!! You have to try some food from the vendors as well. Go for fried grasshoppers, which are quite a good snack, or try the fried fish.

OK, it's another experience, but after all it's just another asian market. If your passing that way have a look, you may even find a bargain. The food area is well worth a photograph or two though!

Comparing it to the Russian market, Central market is more organized, not as stuffy/hot and cheaper price too. Most of the things sold are about the same in either markets. Bargaining skills would be very useful here!

Before going there, I read so many comments saying how many cheap things you can find there but everything they sell there for tourists are the same: same pattern of tshirts, pants, bags and everything else for tourists.
It's still cheap but not as interesting as people say.

I later found out things are cheaper if you buy them from the vendors outside Angkor wat temples and sides. I regretted it because I wanted them help the vendors outside temples more.
