“Less interesting than either the Russian Market or Night Market”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

This market seems to be aimed mostly at local shoppers. Everyday goods, such as toiletries, clothing, and household plants, take up most of the space. For a more interesting look at a local market, go to the Night Market. For souvenirs, go to the Russian Market.

The architecture of the building itself is interesting, though, and best appreciated from up-close, so you might want to drop by if you have free time.

“Colorful market”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

The structure of this market hall is beautiful, too bad that the road is difficult to grasp the particular geometry. Inside you will find everything. In the central part jewelry and watches, and clothing, Accessories for home and on the outer food, fruit and vegetables. The market is very lively and colorful. It 's very interesting to wander through the various stalls and look at the goods on display, some easily recognizable, others typically oriental. As usual bargaining is a must.

“Visit for the architecture”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

Well worth a visit to look at the dome and architecture. Very organised but in my opinion the Russian market has more character and better bargains if you are looking for brand name clothing.

“Busy Market”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

The central Market is great because like it's name it's close to many popular places in the city for travelers. The shopping is good and cheap if you are good at bargaining. The food stalls are pretty decent and the people are very friendly and helpful.

“A very colorful place!”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

We have come to the Central market to buy quality souvenirs but it is not the place for it at all. Instead of good souvenirs you can find the fantastic food market with all kinds of food you could even imagine. Fruits, vegetables, fish and all other stuff from the sea: fresh and cooked make you crazy in a second. The smells are so strange and unusual that it takes your time to get used to them.
