I was initially put up in room # 101 on arrival, but it emanated a bad stench the following morning and I was immediately shifted to a bigger, better room by the hotel staff. The new room was spacious and clean, thankfully. Phones in the room don't work, so one has to go down to the front desk for everything, which I found a bit irksome. Also, wi-fi connectivity is weak in the rooms.
The breakfast buffet is good. Only a 10 minute walk away is the riverside where can find good dining options. I thought the hotel restaurant was over-priced.
Staff at the front desk is very warm and helpful. They booked my tickets to Siem Reap with a good bus service. One advice- do not accept the rates the staff quotes for the tuk-tuk ride they arrange for your from outside the hotel. Negotiate with the tuk-tuk driver and make sure they have understood you well enough.
Grasshoppers, The Royal Palace and National Museum are at a 10 minute walking distance from the hotel, so in terms of location this hotel is quite good.More
