Was staying on the same street, passed by and saw the noodles being freshly made, and decided to try it. I was not disappointed. Friendly staff, fresh and flavorful food, casual atmosphere, and inexpensive.

Just ate here recently based on TA reviews. We were looking for something authentic and casual. We tried the noodle soups, lock lak and fried noodles- everything was excellent! Do not be deterred by 'chilly' in the name as food comes out flavorful, but not spicy. There is however plenty of spice on the table for you to delve into and adjust your dish to your perfect level of heat.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Aside from the food, the highlight is watching the noodle chef prepare your noodle dishes. After you order you can pop outside to watch your noodles to life before your eyes. Your food is severed fresh and hot within minutes.

If you are looking for great food, and a causal atmosphere with an authentic twist, then this is a must!

So I love noodles, maybe even an addict. The fix I get from the freshly made rice noodles (right before your eyes) lives long after I have gone home. It's like willy wonka for those of us for whom noodles are the only true way to be satiated.

Along this strip are many ersatz Western places where you can get a Khmer curry...or a hamburger and fries. For a more authentic Cambodian experience, you could do much worse than Chilly Noodle House. A lot of reviewers have focused on the home-made noodles (which we have yet to try), but we can vouch for the fact that there is more to this place than just noodles. We opted for the Loc Lac (a Cambodian favorite) which combines tender chunks of beef and a pepper sauce. I've tried it at several places around town and this is probably the best so far.

It is a good sign that there were locals eating here during our visit, meaning that the food appeals to local foodies as well as the many tourists in this part of town. Prices are also very reasonable, making this an easy place to recommend to travelers or expats.

I went to Chilly Noodle House with friends and enjoyed the home made noodles immensely. It is great to watch the noodles being made by while you wait. Quite an art. If you like chilli you won't be disappointed as they serve a dipping sauce with fresh chilli to go with your noodles. The owners are very friendly. A must visit in Phnom Penh!
