“Very friendly place”
Reviewed October 17, 2013

This was the first place that I arrived in Phnom Penh, I was overwhelmed by the friendly nature of the staff and the great service. The hotel itself had everything that I needed and was more than satisfactory. It is also in a great part of the city. I recommend it to all.

This is a bit of a mixed review for this hotel. Here are the pros and cons:

Pros:
*Speak very good english in the hotel.
*Lovelly swimming pool on the roof which you can relax in and enjoy a beer.
*Very accomodating at the bar to the side of the pool and they let you play songs you wamted from youtube.
*Nice roof top restaurant and food.
*Air conditioning in the room.

Cons:
*Some of the rooms face onto the street outside so there can be lots of noise, I would recommend asking for a room which faces onto the rear. Some of the rooms near the stairs / lifts that our group stayed in were very noisy as had a window that didnt lock very well facing onto the hall.
*Would have concerns over security (like a lot of hotels in Cambodia). I would use the security deposit boxes at reception.

All in all, I would stay again though I was overwhelmed by the place.

Room Tip: Ask for a room to the rear of the building.

First up, i didn't like the location close to the red light district. It felt seedy in the evenings, plus I had a front-facing room so I heard all the girls laughing & screaming with the punters until the early hours of the morning. My room was small, yet comfortable enough, but what made this hotel enjoyable was the reception staff, they were so helpful & efficient, & the roof-top bar & swiiming pool is very nice too.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the front as it is too noisy.

We booked this place for 4 nights and have left after the first. The photos and star rating were certainly misleading. The was mold all over the ceiling in the bathroom, and the hoser was behind behind the bathroom door so if you showered you can only use The toilet by wearing flips as the drainage is very bad. Food was good, people were nice, but the construction that started at 5am across the street that will last a year was enough for us to eat the money and go elsewhere.

After a very long journey on the night bus I just wanted a place to sleep and shower before catching my flight home, ended up here because moto driver couldn't find my other hotel and I was too tired to keep looking!!
Staff very friendly and helpful, gave me a good rate considering I was checking out that evening, there is a small pool and bar on the roof which would have been great if not raining!!
Room had the best shower I've ever had in Cambodia - hot and powerful! Air con worked really well and bed super comfy.
Location is great as only a couple of streets from the river and all the cafe and bars.
Great place to stay!

At the price, I really cant say too much.

The staff where very good and helpful.

The rooms were clean although basic, the shower was fully operational. Reception has the facility for safekeeping of passports etc.

The location is quite central.

The hotel has a lift, albeit, it only operates upwards, to come down you have to go up a few floors first.
