I have been staying in this hotel during August. The first thing I like in this hotel is location, near royal palace & national museum and riverside. Second thing is staff, They are very friendly & helpful. Moreover they can arrange tuk tuk for me to visit tourist places. The roof top pool is very nice and you could relax after visit tourist places. I highly recommence this hotel and I will be back soon.

Room Tip: Roof top pool up stair is very nice.

I stayed 1 night in phonm penh and unfortunately I booked at queen wood hotel.
We booked 3 double rooms, very small and dirty.
Mani customers of the hotel are trans and prostitutes.
The sheets and towels of our rooms were very dirty...

Located within walking distance of Wat Phnom and Royal Palace but the street was not family-friendly, a lot of girl bars. At night it looks worse than it actually is. Few minutes walk down a small but busy road. 24/7 or a similar shop was very nearby. We managed to haggle a good price for our room but was difficult at the time.

Room was very clean, comfortable and not tacky. Had a fridge, kettle with tea etc and toileteries. TV and air con working well. We had a window but facing the corridor.

Swimming pool on the roof was tiny, probably 3-4m long and was fairly clean. Plenty of seating area upstairs but not much of a view to see.

WiFi was good and you could use internet on 2 computers downstairs. Breakfast buffet you could probably do without and go to this nice place called Blue Pumpkin. I think it was a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel.

Bathroom was clean. Had a wet room for the shower. Beds were very clean and comfortable. I personally was not keen on Phnom Penh and therefore would advise 1-2 nights. There are a good few attractions to see however. Haggle well with a tuc-tuc driver and you can get them driving you around to the attractions so that you can cover a lot in a day (we did this).

Stayed there twice in May 2013, hotel is only new, but some of the furniture & fittings are old? which really doesn't matter at all, as its only a hotel u are in for a short time , your not living there.it has a wet bathroom, room safes are not it all rooms, 2nd stay on return from Sihanoukville I had to request one, they had to bring another one from another room, it only sat there on table wasn't secured to wall or floor though. roof top pool, good view of riverfront, I saw the Kings Birthday fireworks celebrations from there , all the staff were friendly, the night manager was friendly & helpful , but kept on trying to get girls for me , when I left to go out , said he could organise for me , and even when I got back late at night said same . it didn't bother me at all.

A big group of us ended up in this place because of complications with another hostel. It was $15 per person for a clean room, working toilet and shower. I didn't see anything bad about the room as everything you needed in a room was there. The staff were friendly and helped us a lot in terms of helping us get to the Genocidal Centre etc as well as booking our bus to Saigon.

Location is great, two blocks from the river where there are loads of restaurants and lady bars if that's what you're looking for. Everyone told us to go to a nightclub called Pontoon, which wasn't far away and it's quite easy to find the hotel once you see the river. There's a Smile (convenient store) and an ABC Bakery nearby so snacks, drinks and bread will be easy to get. There is also a barber shop opposite the street where they will serve you free beer with your cut.

Cons: there was a dead grasshopper under the bed when we shifted our room, quite gross. Food takes a long long time to serve and they will play the same music on repeat everyday if you're near the rooftop pool.

Within walking distance to some of the city sites like the palace and museum and also not far from Tuol- Sleng Genocide museum. The staff were for me very friendly especially the lovely receptionist and for every thing else I needed or desired the man to see was Meas. The only thing wrong with this hotel in my opinion is the restaurant, breakfast was a joke and for the first time in my life I could not drink the coffee it was that bad! But just 5 min walk away you can enjoy a beautiful breakfast with a view of the Mekong for 5 dollars.
