We really enjoyed our stay at the TeaHouse - a peaceful oasis in the bustle of the city. The staff could not have been any more helpful and the hotel tuk tuks were right at the door. The pool is small but very pleasant. The sunset Butterfly cruise organised by the hotel was excellent with 3 of us enjoying a chilled glass of wine on the Mekong - excellent guide.

I am baffled by some of the negative reviews, as we were thrilled with our experience from start to finish with this lovely hotel. Some travelers seem to forget some conditions I.E. water pressure and haggling Tuk Tuk drivers are the nature of the city, and not the hotel. The staff was tremendously helpful- from their assistance with getting a motorbike and a Vietnamese visa, to assisting us with general questions. We witnessed a number of difficult guests that the staff handled with smile and ease. Our room (302) was great, had big windows and a hot shower. Free daily water is always a plus. The housekeeping staff was thorough and lovely. The computers in the lobby are tremendously helpful. And finally- the breakfast was the best we have had during our 2 months in SE Asia. Very pleased with our experience here and would certainly recommend the hotel to anyone heading to PP.

The Teahouse was excellent from start to finish. Upon arriving we were greeted by staff who took our luggage and gave us a welcome drink. The hotel and pool looked lovely and staff were obviously doing a fantastic job at keeping the place clean. Whilst we were there there was an extremely obnoxious and difficult customer staying at the hotel and we observed the staff on many occasions dealing with this customer in a professional and friendly manner despite the customer being rude enough to test the patience of a saint! Staff should certainly be commended here as they really made our stay. The buffet breakfast was amazing, there was a wide choice available and it was very tasty. We only ate one evening meal at the hotel as there were cheaper options available elsewhere and it was quite a quiet atmosphere, however the food was tasty. The location was ok, only ten to fifteen minutes from the palace. It was a bit disappointing the gym in the hotel was advertised but not open yet. Overall we would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for one night and the staff was great. They booked us a bus the next morning and arranged for pick up. The lobby is very nive with a good restaurant where they also serve breakfast. There isa lso a small pool downstairs and spa. The room we were given had a very nice bathroom, all clean and a comfortable bed. Would recommend it to anyone and come again!

We recently stayed here for 2 nights. No welcome drink upon check in. No tea and coffee facilities in rooms as advertised. Staff never said hello, never offered to carry luggage. Staff told us we could not take fresh milk up to our room to have in a cup of coffee. Breakfast was good, pool small but sufficient. We ended up paying more to stay at The Plantation, a whole other level of service is provided there.
Would not return, would not recommend. Just a very cold vibe from staff.

Dear Guest, Many thanks for your kind review of the Plantation and sorry you did not like the TeaHouse. The staff of both places benefit from identical training and many, including the General Manager, come from the Plantation, which is a sister hotel. I feel very sorry you had a bad experience with the TeaHouse and trust it was an unfortunate bad luck... Cheers, Alexis (Plantation and TeaHouse co-owner)
